Shortly after moving to the DC metro Area, I was lucky to be able to spend a few weeks
learning from the very talented, incredibly creative and endlessly ambitious Amy Marathe,
founder and owner of the shop called "Salvaged" in Fredrick, MD. I must give
her the credit for the antique picking and design of the pieces pictured below,
but I executed her vision by painting, distressing, and re-finishing all of them. I
owe her endless thanks for taking me under her wing and teaching me how
to make beautiful lost furniture new again.
